Michael
Michael has over 20 years of marketing,
sales, and sales operations experience. Mike made an obvious
discovery years ago: The resource salespeople want most are
more and better sales leads. Mike has since focused his career
on delivering that resource.
Michael is Managing Partner of
Callbutton, LLC, a leader in Call Tracking and Pay-per-Call
Systems. Michael has operated in the call tracking space since
1999. Michael joined Callbutton in 2001. Markette comes to
Callbutton from Seattle, Wash., where he headed a spin-off of
THEN Onyx Software that helped independent sales
representatives, sales teams and partners acquire and
distribute sales leads. He brings more than a decade of
experience in raising capital and growing CRM-based businesses
serving industry giants such as MCI WorldCom and Toshiba
America.
Michael also operated a reseller company
of Callbutton, Markette Systems Corp, which he sold the assets
of in 2005 allowing him to focus solely on Callbutton. Michael
began his career selling payroll and tax services for ADP,
which he still credits today as the company from which he
learned how to operate a business.
Mike maintains that he is a career
salesguy, one that began by "selling door-to-door as a
child and schlepping furniture through college." Mike
holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Arizona
State University in Tempe, Arizona. Play
